Harbachs. In Bayeux.

Château de Bellefontaine: looks lovely, good find. Very quick drive from downtown (basically just the other side of the ring road).
Quiet
Has restaurant.
Has bar/lounge.

If you have the energy, walk into town (15-20 mins; first few minutes no sidewalk but the rest does have sidewalk) or ask the hotel to arrange a ride.
Pub Fiction: beer, music, karaoke, apparently the staff and customers are super friendly.
Le Saint Jean: little hole in the wall, good pizzas, baked pastas, charcuterie & cheese boards. 3 mins walk from Pub Fiction.
Oh LaLa: casual, burgers or meaty French dishes, modern and traditional at the same time. Also near Pub Fiction.

This might be an evening to eat at the hotel restaurant?
A WORD TO THE WISE: the Bayeux Tapestry, normally resident in its own museum in the city, has been removed to prepare it for a loan to the British Museum in London during your visit.
